Often described as a "going concern", Carolyne Taylor's entrepreneurial spirit started back when she was seven years old, running restaurants out of the basement of her home and doing charity garage sales on the street!
Carolyne has insight into how systems and people work together, accompanied by strong creativity and innovation which gives her both the ability to see the big picture and to drill down into all the little details.
Happiest when she is juggling mutliple projects - Carolyne founded 24 Carrot Learning in 2003 to be the place where people go to find learning opportunities - whether that was workshops, courses or books (yes, she loves books) - it is her dream and her passion. When she is not promoting the website, she runs successful events, conferences and networking events.
Also known in her personal life as Sweet Dea, Deanna Deacon is a connector, a socializer, a world traveller and a marketer.
Recently back from a year overseas in New Zealand, Deanna is now enjoying living the Victoria lifestyle of being laid-back while staying connected and involved with the community. While radiating positive energy and drawing out inspiration from everyone she meets, Deanna leads a healthy lifestyle through practicing yoga, studying to become a personal trainer, personal blogging and organizing fun trips and activities with her friends.
Her love of marketing comes from the belief of | if I make you smile today, who will you share that smile with tomorrow? After attaining her Marketing Degree through the University of Northern British Columbia, Deanna transitioned into an island-enthusiast and joined the WestShore Chamber of Commerce as their Manager of Administration, Communications and Events.
Deanna is the Business Development Partner (aka Creative Partnership Synchronizer) with yoUnlimited, 24Carrot Learning and the Victoria Yoga Conference. In this role, Deanna has the privilege of connecting community partners with like-minded target audiences through the three companies created by Carolyne Taylor.
